It's Not Too Late: How to Start Your Next Chapter
Maybe you've built a life. You've raised a family, built a career, looked after everyone else. And lately, a quiet question keeps coming back: is this it?
I want you to know that wondering whether there's more for you isn't ungrateful, and it isn't a crisis. It's a sign that you're ready to grow. Here's how to start.
Notice the story you're telling yourself. "I'm too old." "It's too late." "That's not for people like me." These thoughts feel like facts, but they're just stories, and you can choose to write new ones.
Get curious, not critical. Instead of asking "What's wrong with me?", try asking "What do I actually want?" Write it down without judging it. You might surprise yourself.
Start smaller than you think. A new chapter doesn't start with a dramatic leap. It starts with a ten-minute walk, a phone call, signing up for a class, or simply saying yes to something new.
Surround yourself with people who believe in you. Change is so much easier when you're not doing it alone. Find your people, the ones who cheer you on and remind you what you're capable of.
Remember that you've done hard things before. Look back at everything you've already come through. You have more strength, wisdom and resilience now than at any other point in your life.
Your best years aren't behind you. They're waiting for you to begin.
